Hello, I am Liam
I'm a project manager, a parent, and an expatriate living in London, United Kingdom.
A few years ago I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term contract gradually unfolded into a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Began
Moving to United Kingdom wasn't in the cards for the long term. Like many international moves, it started as a work opportunity and soon grew into something far bigger.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, higher expectations. Everyday tasks seemed more intricate than expected.
The Adjustment Phase
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But gradually, routines took shape. We uncovered places that worked for us, connected with other families, and began building something that felt dependable.
Why I Created DrinexoValtori
Most information online was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was missing was an honest, day-to-day family perspective.
This site exists to close that gap — practical guidance grounded in real life in United Kingdom.
